The artist behind the beautiful Mexican pop culture art is David Amoroso of Amoroso Art, who currently resides in Arlington, Virginia. His art began with photography and over time developed into striking paintings, inspired by his travels to Mexico in the late 1990’s. As David reviewed his photos upon completing the trip, he realized there was something missing, the feeling and energy that he experienced. A brush, a paint, and a canvas was what it took to relay his memories in a much more meaningful way.
Since then, David has been creating portraits, pop art, and 3D pieces, especially focusing on Mexican culture. Amoroso Art has been showcased in multiple exhibits throughout the country as well as several restaurants in Washington DC. The ARTFactory was adorned with 25 of David’s paintings that were part of two meaningful themes Entre Dos Mondos and Dia De Los Muertos, translated from Spanish to Between Two Worlds and Day of the Dead.
David Amoroso shares his top 3 paintings in the art gallery. Watch to find out which of his pieces he picks and and the reasons behind his choices.
